Marvel Reviving ‘Daredevil’ for New Disney+ Series

According to Variety, Disney+ is developing a Daredevil TV series written and produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord—the the co-creators of Covert Affairs.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that Marvel Studios' Daredevil project will be the first Marvel Netflix series to get a "new yet continued" show,

making it unclear whether this is a full-on reboot, a direct continuation of the previous show's events, or a combination of the two.

Netflix pulled the plug on the original Daredevil series after three seasons in 2018.

There’s currently no information on casting; however, MCU boss Kevin Feige previously stated Cox would portray Daredevil in future projects.

“If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil,” Feige said in late 2021.
