After responding to the sexual assault allegations against Tilian Pearson, post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance has finally addressed the issue and revealed their vocalist's fate amid the scandal.
California-based group issued a statement on social media, saying the recent allegations against their bandmate are something that they take very seriously.
The band has also been discussing what necessary steps they should take.
With that being said, they decided to drop Pearson from the group ultimately.
"Effective immediately, Tilian will be stepping away from the band in order to seek professional health," the statement continues.
Feerick, the band's longtime bassist, passed away on April 13.
