Conor McGregor has hit back at Floyd Mayweather's claimn that the pair are in talks over another money-spinning fight and insisted he is "not interested" ina rematch.

Back in 2017, Mayweather defeated McGregor to raise his professional record to 50-0.

Since that time, no one has engaged in professional boxing; Mayweather has only featured in flashy performance bouts, while McGregor has resumed his UFC career.

However, Mayweather has his heart on a rematch with McGregor and says that talks are still on about a possible fight between the two camps.

The Daily Mail quoted Mayweather as saying: "I want to go out there this weekend and have fun, then I have another exhibition in Dubai in November and me and Conor McGregor in 2023."

"We don't know whether it will be an actual fighting exhibition or not. But the two have had talks. I'd love an exhibition."

Meanwhile, McGregor dismissed the notion of a follow-up match with Mayweather.

The Irishman posteda photo of their first meeting on Instagram with the comment "not interested".

Then, to obscure Mayweather, he tweeted another photo of the fight, tagging the accounts of his many business ventures and sports alliances.
