Charles Barkley Retiring from 'Inside the NBA'?

Charles Barkley has been a staple on "Inside the NBA" for over two decades, but his time on the program may be coming to a close soon.

While on a TNT conference call, Barkley said, "I'll be 61 when I finish out my contract. I don't want to die on TV. I want to die on the golf course or somewhere fishing.

I don't want to be sitting next to old fat-ass Shaq and drop dead." While he will be back for the next two years, it does not appear likely to see Barkley sitting next to Kenny, Shaq, and Ernie.

Charles Wade Barkley is an American former professional basketball player who is a television analyst on TNT.

Nicknamed "Sir Charles", "Chuck", and "the Round Mound of Rebound", Barkley played 16 seasons in the National Basketball Association for three teams.

During his 16-year NBA career, Barkley was regarded as one of the most controversial, outspoken and dominating players in the history of basketball.
