Britney Spears Reveals Why She Skipped Met Gala 2022

BRITNEY SPEARS REVEALS THE REASON SHE SKIPPED THE MET GALA

Since her longtime conservatorship was ended in late 2021, we are yet to see Britney Spears make her return to the red carpet.

It was rumoured that the pop star would attend the Met Gala this month but to the disappointment of fans she remained absent.

In a new Instagram post, Spears revealed she did in fact have plans to walk the red carpet, but opted for pyjamas instead.

“I was gonna go to Met Gala but instead I got in the tub with my dog and put pjs on 📷📷 !!! I hate flying 📷📷📷 !!!,” she wrote to her 41 million followers.

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the couple wrote in a joint statement.

Just one week after Spears’ father Jamie filed to officially end his daughter’s conservatorship last September, Asghari proposed to the 40-year-old.
