Brett Goldstein Breaks Silence on Playing Hercules in 'Thor: Love & Thunder'
Thor: Love and Thunder has been in theaters now for two weeks, so it’s time to talk about Brett Goldstein‘s cameo as Hercules!
The beloved Ted Lasso actor appears briefly in the mid-credits scene as the superhero Hercules in a quick moment with the character’s father Zeus, played by Russell Crowe.
Brett opened up about the cameo while appearing at a Ted Lasso FYC screening on Monday night (July 18) at the Maybourne in Beverly Hills, Calif.
While chatting with press, Brett talked about sending his parents to see Thor in theaters without telling them about his cameo.
“I didn’t tell anyone,” Brett told. “I didn’t tell my family. They put a chip in me that would explode if I f—ing spoke about it. It was terrifying.”
Brett revealed that his mom was texting during the credits and almost missed his moment. Brett said his parents are thrilled. He added, “My dad keeps calling himself Zeus, so that’s an issue.”
