Austin Butler Recalls the 'Amazing' Moment He Asked Paul McCartney About Meeting Elvis
Austin Butler is looking back at a “pinch me moment” he shared with Paul McCartney.
During an appearance on The Late Late Show Thursday night (June 23), the 30-year-old actor
He plays Elvis in Baz Luhrmann‘s new biopic, revealed that he had spent a very special two-hour train ride with the 80-year-old performer.
Austin explained that he had befriended Paul‘s daughter Stella during his time in London and she’d invited him to her fashion show in Paris.
He recalled, “She heard I was there [in Paris] and then she called me and said ‘Hey I heard you are in Paris would you be able to come to my show tomorrow morning at 11 am?’
I said ‘Stella, I’m on a train heading back to London at 11 a.m. so I don’t know if I can’. And she said ‘Well if you can get your train moved and you come to my show at 11.
