Andy Fletcher, Depeche Mode Co-Founder, Dies at 60

Andy Fletcher, 60, one of the founding members of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Depeche Mode, has died.

Fletcher, often referred to within the band and by fans as “Fletch,

Fletcher was born in 1961 in Nottingham, and moved to Basildon where in the late 1970s he formed the band Composition Of Sound alongside Martin Gore and Vince Clarke

Fletcher leaves behind a wife, Grainne, to whom he was married for almost 30 years, and two children, Megan and Joe.
