for refusing to pay damages in her defamation lawsuit against her ex Johnny Depp.

TMZ has been the medium in charge of revealing this new legal scandal since the actress had a million-dollar policy and even so they have refused to pay said costs.

Despite this, this policy does not represent half of the debt it has with Depp.

And it is that the Fairfax Court ruled that the actress had defamed her ex-partner, for which she was sentenced to pay a total of 10 million

in compensatory damages and another five million in punitive damages.

However, they were finally reduced to 350 thousand dollars to comply with the legal limit established in Virginia.

Amber petitioned New York Marine and General Insurance Co. to use the policy to pay off part of this debt to her ex,

but she refused and sued Heard, as the jury found that she "deliberately committed an act of misconduct" and therefore, the policy cannot be used.
