Alicia Silverstone Reveals She Still Shares a Bed With 11-Year-Old Son Bear
The 45-year-old Clueless actress got candid about how she raises her 11-year-old son, who she shares Bear with ex Christopher Jarecki.
Alicia made an appearance on The Ellen Fisher Podcast, where she talked about their unique dynamic.
“Bear and I still sleep together," she explained on the July 19 episode.She then joked she would “be in trouble for saying that” with mom-shamers, adding, “I don’t really care.”
“I’m a natural mama, and I’m a loving mama. I believe in love, I believe in nature and our society is scared of nature and love,” she said in defense of herself.
Alicia also said she rarely used diapers while potty training her son, and instead “watch[ed] his cues” for when it was time for a bathroom trip.
She added that her ex initially dismissed her methods as “hippie s—t” but later came to appreciate the process: "He loved it. He was like 'this works!'" she exclaimed.
