Adam Sandler Explains Just How He Got A Black Eye During 'GMA' Appearance
Adam Sandler is opening up about just how he injured himself during his interview on Good Morning America on Monday
The 55-year-old actor, who is promoting his new movie, Hustle, revealed that his black eye is the result of hotels tucking in their sheets just a bit too tight.
“This is something I have to discuss, right?” he shared on the program, pointing out the bruise right next to his left eye.
Adam then explained that it was the result of him not untucking the sheets in his hotel bed.
“I was in bed, middle of the night, you know how they tuck in your sheets at the bottom? Somebody tucked in the sheets too much,” he shared.
“I had my phone in the middle of the bed, I kicked my feet up to untuck it – the phone went flying, hit me in the head.”
Adam then said that he just “refused to acknowledge” that the incident happened: “I felt blood and said, ‘Ah, there’s something going on, but I got to sleep.’
