Cristiano Ronaldo will not be joining Manchester City after a hoax circulated about him, due to signing for the blues. Reports started increasing after Harry Kane decided to stay at Tottenham, over the last 24 hours many reports considered Ronaldo to be becoming a City player.
Recently, Pep Guardiola was interviewed by CNS in which he said that only Ronaldo will decide where he wants to play, other than the Blues. Pep told the press that any transfer is “far away” with only four days remaining for the transfer window. The press conference cleared all the hoax and it is clear that Ronaldo won’t join Manchester City. The drafting of new players will happen in Manchester City.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told the press that the doors of Manchester City will always stay open for Cristiano Ronaldo. Meanwhile, Juventus confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has asked to leave. According to various interviews, Ronaldo was asking for initial sticking points and the price set by Juventus. Ronaldo supposedly asked for $24 million dollars. Being one of the greatest footballers ever, Cristiano Ronaldo can surely ask for a huge amount while drafting.
The whole controversy of Ronaldo transferring started and ended within 24 hours only. The basic transfers in the football world, take around 2-4 months to draft new players.
