What Happened To Tania Mendoza? La Reina Del Sur fame Star Shot Dead in Cuernavaca

Tania Mendoza, the Mexican actress of ‘La Reina Del Sur Fame’. She died in a shootout on Tuesday, the 14th of December 2021. The police are yet to arrest the shooter. According to the reports, the shooter shot and left immediately. There were supposedly two men who flee right after the shoot. However, the local sources reported that the police are yet to find them.

The actress went to pick up her 11-year-old son from school. Her son was a witness to the shootout. He saw his mother shot right in front of him. Tania Mendoza was pronounced dead after the paramedics reached the crime scene. However, the investigation is still on.  

Who was Tania Mendoza?

Tania Mendoza was a Mexican singer. She later got into acting. Previously, Tania acted in 10 Horas antes de morir in 2005. She even appeared in Los 3 chacales y la carroña of 2003 as a lead actress. She played the character of La Reyna. Meanwhile, she was a part of many projects for 6 years. Eventually, Los 3 chacales y la carroña got released in 2011.

The singer was 42 years old. She got 25 credits as an actress since her debut in 1998. On the contrary, Mendoza got into acting when she was 19 years old. Her profession was never constant. She made her last public appearance a decade ago. The actress was well known for her publicly recognized work, then.

However, Tania Mendoza also did five albums in the local Mexican language as a singer. Furthermore, the star’s personal life was also private. There is not much information regarding the same. In accordance with the sources, she was married. Her husband’s name was Rafael Sánchez Rojas.

Death Threats Mendoza Got

After the recent event, of the actress’s death, sources report that it wasn’t the first time Tania’s assault. This incident claimed Mendoza her life. Previously, in 2010, Tania, her husband, and her then six-month-old son were kidnapped. The star and her family own a car wash business. However, all three were taken from the car wash. Tania and her husband were beaten. They were captive for a few hours. However, after their release, her captors asked her to leave the Mexican state of Morelos. They called her made the statements. According to many sources, Tania Mendoza had received numerous death threats even since then.
