The Island Boys are specialists at generating negative press. This time, they’ve gotten some backlash for a video in which they’re attempting to box against each other.

Several sites have picked up the video, which was first shared on the account of island boy ‘FlySoulja.’ And the people haven’t been very nice.

The thirty-second twins can be seen throwing fists in the air while making fighting sounds in the boxed display, and you can hear “tell ’em everyone where they can book you” offscreen. The twins then begin selling their cameo appearance, with another boxing video released to the twin brothers’ Kodiakred account featuring the same cameo pitch.

The brothers have been mocked in comments on the videos and on Twitter. CoreyB, a comedian and boxer, came in swinging, yelling “S***.” I mistook myself for seeing two feral cats fight.”

Bradley Martyn, a fitness influencer, also voiced his thoughts, though in a far more straightforward manner, simply saying, “What?”

“Perhaps I punished Bryce Hall too harshly,” another user said, referring to the Bryce Hall quarrel currently simmering around a rumoured 2v1 battle.

Bryce Hall also posted to Twitter, without mentioning the boxing footage, an unproven claim that the fight between them has been confirmed. “The island boys accepted my battle offer, and I’ve just received unique training footage,” he said. Be fore connecting to a video labelled “Island boys make out with each other,” he says, “Looks like it’s going to be a difficult fight for me.”

Tara LaRosa, a former MMA bantamweight champion, was also seen commenting on the recordings. “Could someone please feed them ffs?” says the narrator.

Following the outpouring of support, the guys have yet to respond, and there has been no confirmation from them as to whether this video was genuinely them preparing for a battle against another social media star, or simply an attempt to obtain the Cameo bag.
