TikTok hoodie illusion: Christian Kesniel, a TikTok member, released a video in April that has confused millions of viewers who have seen it on their For You Page.

Christian can be seen dancing in the video to a cover of the viral sea shanty ‘Wellerman,’ which was quite popular on the app in 2021. There are numerous copies of him dancing, each wearing a different bright sweatshirt, and the figures rotate and change places near the end of the video.

However, as they viewed the video, viewers grew perplexed when they saw that it was a flawless loop. Despite the fact that the green hoodie begins the video in the front of the group, when they all rotate positions, the green hoodie appears to impossibly move back to the front.

The hoodie illusion on TikTok is explained

On TikTok, a video by user Christian Kesniel depicting numerous versions of himself dancing in hoodies has racked up over 40 million views, with viewers puzzled as to how the mind-boggling trick works.

People ultimately noticed that the hoodies were all gradually changing color during the movie after looking closer and viewing it several times.

The transformation is so gradual that many individuals miss it the first time around, but they soon caught on. If you watch each hoodie separately while replaying the video, you’ll see how the seemingly impossible illusion works.

“So yes, I just had to watch it a couple of times just to see how the coats’ colours change,” read one remark with more than 100,000 likes.

“My mind is a jumbled mess.” This is fantastic!” “Okay, I’ve seen this maybe 30 times and it still keeps f***ing my brain!” remarked one person.

With over 40 million views and 4.8 million likes, the original video has gone viral.

Last year, a TikTok user went viral after showing users a beanie she bought that appeared to change colour completely depending on the lighting.
