Rayna Foss, Former Coal Chamber Bassist Reportedly Missing for Months

Rayna Foss, the bass guitarist for the band, Coal Chamber was reported to be missing. It’s been months now, and there is no information yet about the former Coal Chamber member to be found. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is still on the search for Rayna Foss.

When Did Rayna Foss Go Missing?

According to the reports, Rayna Foss went missing on the 7th of September 2021. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds approximately, a 51-year-old lady. Her last clothing description is not known yet. Ever since last September, the bassist is missing.

However, any one who sees or is aware of Rayna Foss’s location is requested to inform the NOPD Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070. The police are still on search and are expecting to receive a lead soon.

Rayna Foss, A Member Of The Coal Chamber

Rayna was born on the 26th of August 1970. She is 51 years old now. Furthermore, in an interview, Rayna spoke about her journey as she became the bass guitarist of the band Coal Chamber.

Foss said that she was always a dancer. She danced all her life. Eventually, she became a dance teacher and was enjoying being one. She expressed, how one day at a party, she was sitting and was bored. Right when Rayna saw something like a guitar in a closet.

Out of curiosity, she asked her friend about the guitar. In response, her friend told her that it was a bass guitar and she could take it as he used it no more. Rayna took the guitar home and would play it randomly. She expressed how it was just six months before she joined the band.

Meanwhile, Rayna was working with Dez’s ex-wife. Dez Fafara was the founder of the famous metal band Coal Chamber. However, as the band’s founder’s ex-wife was friends with Rayna Foss, she told her former husband about it.

Eventually, Rayna expressed how she got the call for her auditions. She freaked out at first but then later decided to go for it. Exactly after eight days of her selection, Rayna Foss played her first song for the band. That’s how she rose to fame.
