MRC hires Adam Stotsky as President for its newly created operations called MRC Live and Alternatives, this is formerly was in the name of Dick Clark Productions.
Adam Stotsky, who worked for 20 years (joined in 2001) in NBCUniversal as global president of the E! Entertainment. He started his career as Chief Marketing Officer of NBC Entertainment in 2008. Then, he worked as President of Esquire Network in 2012. He was leading the E! Entertainment from 2014 till 2019. After that, He exited NBCEntertainemt after 2 decades of work. But now, he set off as the president of MRC’s new division called Live Entertainment and Alternative Division.
MRC (Media Rights Captial) is an American Media Company founded by Modi (Mordecai Wiczyk) and Asif Satchu as an Independent Film Studio. It creates film and television programming. Especially, This owns a group of entertainment and music publication industries.
What happens to dcp now?
MRC is quitting slowly from Dick Clark Productions(dcp). Now, Stotsky will run the division which provides main awards of approval; this includes, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, and ABC’s Annual New Year’s Eve special;
This abrupt move marks a halt for Dick Clark Productions. Hence, there will not be any use of the dcp moniker now.
Given these points, This move is a clue that MRC intends to invest in live entertainment and production capabilities that respects to unscripted one. This became uncertain among Dick Clark Productions. On top of that, the company was on a trade with the frequent buyer; also came near getting sold to China’s conglomerate (Dalian Wanda).
In general, Dick Clark Productions is believed to be down for some time. After the founder died at the age of 82; his son R.A Clark worked for the company but, later he expands his own banner, Lewis, and Clark.
