The streaming world is having a tough competition no doubt. Apart from Netflix other service providers are Amazon, Paramount, Apple, and more. The subscribers of these do go up and down often and something similar has been happening with Disney+ as well.

But yes, so far there’s been no such announcement about Disney+ ending. However, the drop in the number of subscribers that Disney+ has experienced lately has surely been hinting that some changes to the streaming platform might be on its way.

Changes that might come with Disney+

Disney+ has experienced some drop in its profitability due to millions of subscribers ending their subscriptions to the platform. To cover the same, CEO Bob Iger has planned to introduce some changes in 2024 to Disney+. The changes thus have been making many curious about it.

Some of the expected changes to the services by Disney+ could be an increase in the subscription charges. As of October this year, the hike in the same would be by $3 per month.

So, yes the new charges in the US are to reach $13.99 per month. Cheaper ad-supported tiers may come too. While many other changes are to roll out in the future too.
