Does Soulja Boy plan to leave hip-hop? Internet users rejoice after the rapper announces that he wishes to pursue a career in acting.

A few days ago, Soulja Boy went on Instagram Live and said he was simply filming a show for television.

With the start of the new year, Soulja Boy looks to add another feather to his cap with a brand new song.

As a seasoned artist with a long career, Soulja Boy is looking to add one more feather to his cap with the beginning of the new year. ‘Being Draco’, the new program to air on Revolt TV starting on January 21, will see the ‘Crank That’ hitmaker showcase his acting skills.

Is that an indication that he is leaving hip-hop?

Soulja Boy announced recently, during an Instagram Live session, that he was done with rap feuds and focusing exclusively on acting.

As a result, many social media users concluded that the 31-year-old rapper was hinting at ending his rap career. After becoming hot under the collar, Soulja Boy finally took to Twitter to clear the air.

Chicago rapper said he didn’t have problems. “All I’m doing is TV shows and movies.”

Soulja Boy did not mention its specific spats, though the musician had recently mentioned Kanye West’s alleged ability to get artists booted from their albums.

His contribution to Donda, Ye’s album, was left out of the final release after their summer feud was widely publicized.

Soulja, also known as Big Draco, denied the baseless rumor a few hours later, stating that he would still rap. The rapper said his new album would be released next month. “I said I quit beefing.”

Additionally, he said that blogs would stop publishing that information. Music is not going anywhere for him.

Users Flocked To Twitter

One person said that it’s all good since we could have stopped listening to you (Soulja Boy) years ago! “Make it clap we was just bored.”

Another said, “Quit for the sake of everyone’s ears.” Another user tweeted that retirement isn’t so bad. “Move to Florida and buy a boat”.

The next person mocked the rapper by declaring he was the “First rapper to stop beefing.” Another individual made the same statement by calling Soulja the “First rapper not to quit rapping.”
