Conservative Speaker Candace Owens Is Defending The Houston Rapper Megan Thee Stallion Amid Tory Lanez’s Trial

In the midst of Tory Lanez’s trial for shooting Megan Thee Stallion back in the summer of 2020, conservative speaker Candace Owens is defending the Houston rapper. During a segment of her podcast on Wednesday (21st December), Candace Owens addressed the issue. The clip shows her calling out Tory Lanez and slamming the no-snitch code. The situation that is unfolding with Megan Thee Stallion in her real life, not just in her performance, is one of the most horrifying things that I’ve ever seen,” Owens said. That person who hasn’t been cancelled is amazing to me. Owens continued, after recounting the story of Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting, that violence is the word we use and silence is violence in our society. You are talking about someone who just shot a woman. This is real physical violence, the kind of violence you could never imagine between a man and a woman.

“Then what?” Candace Owens added. Despite the speculation, people had no idea what had happened, but I will tell you what happened online. Megan was mocked by both women and men, especially in Black culture. In their minds, it’s funny maybe that she got shot in the foot and had to undergo surgery. They cannot believe what happened. The violence suffered by Tory Lanez is not being called out. No, Owens said. In that car, something happened. In my opinion, she did not shoot herself in the foot and decided to go to the hospital. However, what then transpired was amazing because of this “no snitching culture.”. The verdict on Tory Lanez’s trial for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, which took place on July 12, 2020, is currently pending. On Thursday (Dec. 22), the jury began deliberations after over a week of testimony. Following an argument that involved her former assistant Kelsey Harris and her best friend Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez is accused of shooting her.
