Boruto Episode 290 is reportedly titled, ‘Presence.’

The upcoming episode is expected to continue to focus on Daemon while Kawaki will struggle to fit in with the Konoha village. 

Moreover, the preview teased that Boruto will complain about the sensory Shinobi supervising them all the time. However, Inojin will try to calm him down by saying it for the protection of the village.

Meanwhile, Kawaki will attempt to avoid the surveillance person after learning that the sensory unit cannot detect the erasing chakra 

Boruto Episode 289: A Quick Recap

The 289th episode of Boruto is titled, ‘Qualifications.’

In the previous episode, we saw Kawaki having nightmares of Code attacking him.

Additionally when Amado and Sumire decide to check on him, the former upset Kawaki by mentioning that he needs to be stronger in order to protect Naruto. 

Besides that, Amado recommends Kawaki obtain Karma as a weapon again. Furthermore, Eida witnesses this owing to her special eyes and asks Code to remove Kawaki from his list of people to kill. 

Meanwhile, she later introduces her brother Daemon, who also happens to be the other knight, to Code. Subsequently, Daemon appears to have a lot of power and is also immune to her sister’s abilities.

Kawaki on the other hand lashes out at Team Shikadai after he gets upset. But they mollify him by saying that he is also a citizen of the Hidden Leaf village.

Consequently, Boruto gives Kawaki a headband as a gift and apologizes for fighting with him. Kawaki then realizes something about how he needs to protect Naruto and the Hidden Leaf village.
