Trevor Bauer Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Woman Who Said He Assaulted Her

Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer announced Monday that he has filed a defamation lawsuit against the San Diego woman who accused him of sexual assault.

Bauer also named one of the woman’s attorneys, Fred Thiagarajah, in the lawsuit, alleging he made “knowingly false statements” about the player in the media.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Bauer said on Twitter.

Bauer, as he's done repeatedly since Hill initially accused him in 2021, completely denied having non-consensual s*x with the woman.

Bauer also, once again, denied ever choking Hill without her consent. He also denied ever punching or scratching her.

Bauer did acknowledge that the two had s*x on two occasions, one in April 2021 and one in May 2021

but he claimed over and over again in the suit that the actions during those encounters were consensual.
