Sharon Van Etten Chose Not To Preview Her New Album Before Release
Van Etten has also announced that on 6 May at 8 p.m. EST she will have a record release show on her YouTube channel, where she will also premiere the video for the album’s “Mistakes.”
Van Etten released no advance singles from the album, preferring that fans heard the whole thing in one straight shot
“I don’t know why I did this to myself,” says Sharon Van Etten, smiling into her computer monitor in a way that recalls Karen Allen in Raiders of the Lost Ark
“There are some of the craziest melodies on this record — the highs and the lows and vocal runs that I do,” Sharon says.
