Pete Davidson publicly addresses harassment from Kanye West, jokes that he is a ‘genius’
Pete Davidson returns to stand-up comedy at The Hollywood Bowl on Thursday as part of Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival.
During Netflix Is A Joke Fest over the weekend, Davidson spoke publicly about the situation, poking fun at Kanye's behavior toward him
This includes an alleged incident in which Kanye tried to spread a rumor that Davidson had contracted AIDS. “I had an AIDS scare this year,”
Davidson said early in his set, going on to joke that since Kanye is a “genius,” he went to his doctor for a check-up.
Davidson joked about Kanye's controversial and very public harassment of Kardashian, which included sending her a truck full of roses.
Davidson compared the situation to the 1993 film “Mrs. Doubtfire,” where Robin Williams plays a man who tried to spend more time with his children by posing as a housekeeper in his ex-wife’s home
“Am I the only one who secretly hopes Kanye will go full Mrs. Doubtfire?” Davidson said.
