Kanye West is being investigated for battery after allegedly throwing a woman's cellphone.

It has been reported that Kanye West is being investigated for battery after he allegedly took a woman's cellphone and threw it.

A video posted on social media reportedly shows that West, 45, was on his way to a basketball game in LA

with his children North and Saint when the alleged incident of battery occurred.

In the video, the rapper, who appeared to believe he was being pursued by paparazzi,

is seen getting out of his black Mercedes-Benz and reportedly confronting the woman in her vehicle.

The video also shows that his partner Bianca Censori was present in the car as a passenger, but she did not follow him when he exited the car and confront the woman.

The woman, whose identity and profession is not known, filmed the rapper from the driver's seat while he said: "You didn't have to run up on me like that."

Kanye West is heard saying in the video, "If I say stop, stop with your cameras!"

He continued to say this before the woman in the car argued that she had the right to film him because he is a public figure.
