In a new interview, the 82-year-old designer was asked to share his opinion on the 41-year-old reality star....
wearing the iconic dress he and Jean Louis designed for Marilyn Monroe to the 2022 Met Gala, and Bob called it a “big mistake.”
If you didn’t know, Bob drew the sketch for the original gown back in 1962 when he was working as an assistant to Jean Louis.
“I thought it was a big mistake,” Bob told Entertainment Weekly. “[Marilyn] was a goddess. A crazy goddess, but a goddess.
She was just fabulous. Nobody photographs like that. And it was done for her. It was designed for her. Nobody else should be seen in that dress.”
